SOME FACTS, VISION, AND MISSION of SOHC
• WE ACKNOWLEDGE as a human race we are an imperfect people that have access to a perfect, true and living God.
• WE RECOGNIZE in this age and space of time that many people are hurting and searching for a personal connection with God and through the catalyst of our own personal experiences and relationships we have this great opportunity to reach those wh
o are apprehensive about attending a church building or seeking out an organized religious establishment.
• WE BELIEVE through prayer, a lifestyle of worship and a heart for all people, we can offer our gifts to lead others to a true relationship (not religion) with Christ; using music as our platform.
• WE AIM TO continuously educate ourselves and draw from the diversity of our racial, cultural, denominational practices, methods and influences by merging them into blended musical expressions of God’s word and love for all people.
• WE ARE COMMITTED to hosting and working with other clergy, ministries and organizations to provide community events and other outreach practices designed to urge people to build better relationships with each other and God.
• WE ARE NOT forming a church
• WE DO NOT have any intent or agenda to remove congregants from their current places of worship; rather to gain participation of singers & musicians as representation from congregations.
• WE PUBLICALLY embrace diversity and consciously work together to build a racially & culturally balanced representation of the Church of Jesus Christ.
• WE ARE UNITED as many voices with one sound, SOHC together, ushering in presence of God so He can destroy the walls of separation and lead us and others and into a greater understanding and relationship with God and each other.
