A great daily listen (or read) for the month of October, leading up to Reformation Day on October 31:

"To celebrate the Reformation, we produced a 31-day journey of short biographies of its many heroes, just 5–7 minutes each day."

Martin Luther didn’t stand alone 500 years ago. Nor does he stand alone today. To mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, we invite you to join us on a 31-day journey, just 5–7 minutes each day, to meet the many heroes of the Reformation.

From the rising of the sun to its setting
The name of the LORD is to be praised.

We were recently able -- with family and friends present alongside our church family -- to ordain Lucas Admiraal to the ministry of the gospel. Praise God for this privilege, and for the blessing of Lucas, Yilina, and their children! He began his ministry at Little Flat Rock Christian Church yesterday!

And thanks to his grandmother for the photos!

"For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,
And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up,
So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise
To spring up before all the nations."

Isaiah 61:11, NASB

"Praise the LORD ... He gives snow ...
He casts forth His ice ... He sends forth His word and melts them"

(Psalm 147:12-18, NASB95)

"Praise the Lord ... He gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes. He casts forth His ice as fragments; Who can stand before His cold?"

Psalm 147:12, 16-17 (NASB95)

From the IMB:

"The 2026 Winter Olympics in Northern Italy is not just a sporting event. It is a massive missional opportunity. For two weeks, the nations of the world will gather, giving us an extraordinary, time-bound chance to share the gospel.

Thousands of visitors from over 90 nations, including those currently closed to traditional missionary access, will be gathered in one single, high-concentration location.

With your help, we will deploy a fully-equipped team of IMB missionaries and local Italian partners ready to share the gospel with travelers and locals during the Olympic games.

This is the crucial strategic window.

Your gift today ensures we are fully prepared to share the gospel when the world arrives in Northern Italy."
