📖 TODAY'S MESSAGE: "ARE YOU BORED YET?"

"Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."
We live in a world filled with entertainment, possessions, technology, and endless opportunities. Yet with everything available to us, why do so many people still struggle to find satisfaction?
Perhaps the problem isn't that we don't have enough. Perhaps we're looking for fulfillment in the wrong places.
I. SOLOMON: BORED WITH HAVING EVERYTHING
Solomon possessed wealth, wisdom, power, and nearly everything this world could offer. Yet he discovered that earthly pleasures could never satisfy the soul.
The excitement of something new eventually fades. Possessions become ordinary, accomplishments become memories, and the search for happiness continues.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV)
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."
True satisfaction isn't found in having everything. It's found in knowing God and living for Him.
II. THE PRODIGAL: BORED WITH HAVING IT GOOD
The prodigal son had a loving father, a home, security, and provision. Yet he became dissatisfied and convinced himself that something better was waiting elsewhere.
He chased temporary pleasures, only to discover that the world couldn't provide what he already had at home.
Luke 15:17 (KJV)
"And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!"
Sometimes we're so focused on what we don't have that we overlook the blessings God has already given us.
Don't sacrifice lasting blessings while chasing temporary excitement.
III. MARTHA: TOO BUSY TO ENJOY WHAT SHE HAD
Martha was serving, preparing, and fulfilling responsibilities. But in all her activity, she became distracted from spending time with Jesus.
Luke 10:40 (KJV)
"But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me."
Even good things can become distractions when they take priority over our relationship with Christ.
We can become so busy serving God that we forget to spend time with God.
Don't let your schedule become so full that there's no room for prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with the Lord.
IV. JONAH: LIFE BECAME TOO MUCH ABOUT HIMSELF
Jonah witnessed God showing mercy to Nineveh. Yet instead of rejoicing, he became focused on his own frustrations and expectations.
Sometimes our greatest obstacle to joy isn't our circumstances. It's our perspective.
When life becomes centered on ourselves, we miss the wonderful things God is doing around us.
God's purpose is greater than our personal comfort.
🙏 THE CHALLENGE
Are you finding satisfaction in possessions or in Christ? Are you appreciating your blessings? Have you become too busy for Jesus? Is your life centered on yourself or God's purpose?

Sometimes the answer isn't doing more or having more. It's simply drawing closer to Jesus.
