Devastated to wake up to see the horrible news coming out of Bondi Beach, (outside of Sydney) Australia. Jews murdured for attending a Chanukah celebration. Devastated but not surprised, the rise of global antisemitism is terrifying. We hurt and grieve with our brothers and sisters.

Epcot Shabbat Australia this past Shabbat 12/6 was a success! We enjoyed a delicious kiddush lunch lovingly prepared by our Sisterhood and Paul Ever shared information about the Jewish Community there and the antisemitism they are facing. We spent Shabbat sharing words of prayer, inspiration and friendship. We LOVE this pic 🇦🇺

We are honored to host a special book discussion on Wednesday, Nov. 19th to Discuss "Hostage" by Eli Sharabi. Eli was kidnapped by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023, and held captive for 491 days. His memoir recounts a hellish ordeal, but Hostage is not just an account of the horrors he endured in Gaza, it is about his will to survive. The book is a testimony of the worst attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. He lived it – we are just being asked to read it.

Join together to bear witness as some of our hostages have returned either to start the process of rebuilding their shattered lives or to be laid to rest in our holy soil – come together to start the conversation of where are we and where do we go from here?
When Eli Shabari was asked “How are you getting your life back together?” He responded, “I wake up every morning and say, ‘I choose life,’ again and again.” Join us for a compassionate but needed book discussion led by Yarden Neeman in the safety of the Synagogue walls (8100 Cornell Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249) – We will have coffee, tea, light desserts, hugs and support. Everyone is welcome! RSVPs required.
