Father’s Column – September 2026

Laudetur Jesus Christus! As summer draws to a close and our children and young people return to school, September brings with it the beginning of what we might call a new “pastoral year.” The quieter rhythms of summer give way once again to parish activities, classes, feast days, and opportunities for us to grow together in faith and friendship....

Father’s Column – April 2026

Surrexit Dominus vere, alleluia! Frohe Ostern! Buona Pasqua! Christos Anesti! Christos Voskrese! Christ is Risen! Indeed He is Risen! With great joy I offer you Easter greetings on behalf of the Oratory Fathers, Brothers, and Parish Staff. After the labors of Lent, the Church now bursts forth in the light of the Resurrection. What we have prayed, fasted, and sacrificed for these past forty days now gives way to the triumph of Christ, who has conquered sin and death and opened for us the way to eternal life....

Happy Feast of St. Joseph

Today we celebrate the Feast of Saint Joseph, spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Protector of the Universal Church. On this same day, we also mark the ninth anniversary of the canonical establishment of the Cincinnati Oratory. With gratitude, we give thanks to God for all those who have helped us along this path—from the beginning until now. We remember in our prayers those who have gone before us, and we entrust to His providence all those whom He will yet send. Please continue to pray for us, and especially for vocations, through the powerful intercession of St. Joseph.
