From your church family at Salem United Church of Christ to you we had a very blessed Easter morning service and in one accord celebrating our risen Savior! The spirit that raised Jesus on the 3rd day is here among us today that we can live a life of new with our great God. The chains have been broken and the temple vail was ripped in two that we have a direct communication to a God of love!

Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!

Salem UCC will be closed tomorrow Sunday February 8 2026 due to no parking and hazardous walking conditions to the church. All members and friends we are in need for your help on Wednesday February 11, 2026, 6:00 p.m. to take down all decorations for the upcoming wedding. Please let us know if you are able to help.

Unfortunately Salem United Church of Christ will not have Sunday Service on February 1, 2026. After today's assessment around the church there's no parking due to outer lanes on Liberty and Sycamore Streets having snow piles from the city road crews last weekend. The temperatures will prevent snow melting by Sunday.

Hopefully we will have church service on Sunday February 8, 2026. Here's to warmer weather by then, right Keith Hensley ?

Due to the weather forecast and the city has already issued a snow emergency, which means no on street parking for Liberty or Sycamore Streets, Salem United Church of Christ will be closed on Sunday January 25, 2026.

Please stay safe and warm. Please take this time thinking and showing the light of Christ with others.

Hopefully see you next Sunday if Mother Nature cooperates.
