After almost 50 years of dedication to loving, praying, leading and serving the members of our church, our Senior Pastors Bishop Michael E. Dantley, EdD, and Pastor Carol B. Dantley are taking the well-deserved opportunity to begin transitioning into succession. Words cannot express the impact that our shepherd leaders have made on our church, community and our hearts. They have undoubtedly earned the right to enjoy seeing the fruit of their labor being carried out in the legacy that they have built.
We are excited to announce that Pastor David Goins and Lady Angel Goins of New Evergreen Ministries have been selected as the successors of our Sr. Pastors’ leadership! Later on this year Pastor Goins will take on the role as an Elder, and will become Senior Pastor when Bishop Dantley & Pastor Carol decide to retire in the future. As of now, both Bishop and Pastor Carol remain our active Senior Pastors.
Although Bishop Dantley & Pastor Carol are entering a new season in life, they will continue to do the work of the Lord by overseeing and guiding churches to be successful in ministry. We are excited to honor their 49th Pastoral Anniversary next week! We also look forward to being able to celebrate 50 years of service next year, as we continue to look forward to what is NEXT for the body at Christ Emmanuel Christian Fellowship.
As we prepare for the future the day to day of ministry operations will not be impacted. There will be a family gathering on July 2nd, where we can come together and discuss what’s NEXT for CECF, and get all questions and concerns addressed. You may also email them to [email protected].
