YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

VISION
This ministry is designed to build community among young adults within the church with a
focus to strengthen outreach beyond the body of Christ; to continue equipping and edifying
young adults with classes and activities designed spec

ifically for them; to set apart young
adults, away from the ways of this world, knowing full well that they are a part of the world but
not in the world. MINISTRY STRUCTURE
The structure is intended to be holistic—allowing young adults to develop maturity, learn to
depend on one another, build long lasting relationships, share experiences, and support each
other. The strength of this community will be used as a force to recover all for this generation. The tenets of the ministry are as follows:

Community engagement – focuses on service based initiatives - Psalm 82:3; Acts 20:35;
1 Thessalonians 5:14

Christian education – focuses on faith development programming efforts - Romans
15:4; Ephesians 3:18

Cultural enrichment – focuses on intercultural programming efforts - 1 Corinthians 1:5;
2 Corinthians 9:11

Career exploration – focuses on professional development programming efforts -
Ephesians 4:1
