Let's be the change we want to see. This subject should not be taboo in the church. We encourage you to attend and then take this information back to your churches and communities and share!

This opening conversation challenges one of the most persistent and dangerous myths surrounding Black mental health: “Black Folk Don't: Commit Su***de .”

The belief that resilience, faith, family, or simply being Black somehow protects us from su***de can make suffering harder to name, recognize, and address. We cannot prevent what we are unwilling to acknowledge—and breaking the silence may be the first step toward saving a life.
