Continuing our series on the pursuit of being a more beautiful Bride, today we’re talking about our desire to center everything around the Gospel.

We want to build our church around the good news of Jesus. We trust that when we sing songs centered on Jesus, confess our sin, remember the cross, receive communion, and hear the Word preached, we are being formed by the Gospel.

We do this because the best news mankind has ever been given is more than enough. We don’t need to manufacture bigger emotional moments
The Gospel is enough.

We want to be a people who continually return to the life, death, resurrection, and reign of Jesus.

Continuing our series on the pursuit of being a more beautiful bride. Today we talk about our desire to be sustainable, not hectic

This is one of our hardest convictions to live out as a church plant, everything feels urgent.

But, we want to build rhythms in our church that give people breath rather than leave them out of breath.

We want to work hard, serve faithfully, and fully give ourselves to what God has called us to, but we also want to remember that we are not God.

Happy 1st Birthday, CTR! We had a great time celebrating everything God has done in the first year of this church yesterday. We can’t wait to see what he will do next year as we continue to Worship Him, Make Disciples, and Reach the Lost through the Preaching of the Gospel and Dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Continuing our series on the pursuit of being a more beautiful bride. Today we talk about our desire to be formed, not entertained.

Every Sunday, we gather to sing, pray, hear the Word, confess our sins, receive the assurance of pardon, and come to the Lord’s Table. These aren’t just elements of a service designed to create a meaningful experience, they are ancient practices God uses to shape his people.

We want to be a church where Sunday isn’t something we consume, but something we participate in.

The goal is to leave looking a little more like Jesus.

Formation, not entertainment.

Join us this Sunday, September 13th, as we celebrate our 1st anniversary!

Just one year ago, CTR launched, and we are so grateful for all that God has done since then. What a year it has been!

We’ll also have Christian Coffee Company serving up some special coffee drinks and delicious cake from Bep's Bake House

When we first started this church we asked the question, does the launch of this church look more like a product launch or the birthing of a spiritual community? We value artistry and creativity but for what purpose and at what cost? We will strive to love and care for one another as a family.

In just a couple of weeks, we’ll begin a new season of groups, join us!

For 13 weeks, our men’s, women’s, and coed groups will journey together through The Gospel Way Catechism by Thomas West.

We believe this experience will help form us in the Gospel, deepen our community with one another, and unite us as a church family.

Kicking off our series on the pursuit of being a more beautiful Bride, today we talk about our goal of leadership in our church being shaped by the biblical model of pastoring, as opposed to the model of the corporate CEO.

CTR will always strive to ask, “are the people in this church being shaped into the image and likeness of Christ?” before we ask “how do we get more people in the building?” or “how can we be a more efficient organization?”.

This will mean slower growth, but (God Willing) good growth.
