Love City is a church plant in Norwood Ohio, right in the heart of the Greater Cincinnati region. Our great hope is to be a gospel centered, love motivated, community of believers, a city within the city, that seeks the good of the place where God has called us to be. We not only want to be a love motivated city within the city, but we want to go and actively answer the call to love the people in

the place where God has placed us for His glory. We believe we have been called, by God, to give the culture around us a real life example of what it means when He says, He loves us & then tells us to love others. In short “Love City” is both who we are and what we do. Our name is a constant call to, and reminder of, our mission to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples. We also believe re-defining love through the scriptures and the cross of Christ is an essential part of accomplishing this mission.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and father figures who faithfully love, lead, serve, and point others to Christ.

We thank God for the gift of godly men who reflect His care through sacrifice, strength, and compassion. No earthly father is perfect, but every good fatherly gift points us to our perfect heavenly Father.

“As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.” — Psalm 103:13

Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom—the day news of emancipation finally reached enslaved people in Texas.

As Christians, we celebrate every reminder that freedom is good because freedom reflects the heart of God. While Juneteenth commemorates liberation from human slavery, the gospel proclaims an even greater freedom: freedom from sin through Jesus Christ.

“So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed”
— John 8:36

Today we remember, celebrate, give thanks, and look to Christ—the One who is making a people for Himself from every tribe, tongue, and nation.
