St. Gertrude Church - Cincinnati We are a Roman Catholic parish shaped and enlivened by the charism of the Order of Preachers (the Dominicans).

We teach and preach the Truth, reverently celebrate the liturgy and sacraments, and gather as a community so that all may encounter Jesus here.

Meet a Parishioner: the Pearson family-Doug, Liz, Nora, Isaiah, Felicity, Leo, Mary and John!

The Pearsons have deep roots in the St. Gertrude Parish community. Liz grew up at the parish and graduated from St. Gertrude School (SGS) in 2003. They were married at St. Gertrude in 2011 and now four of their six children attend SGS. "We love the Eucharist-centered campus where we can attend daily Mass, spend time with our Lord in adoration, and come as a family to be renewed in the
sacrament of confession," Doug and Liz said. "When we pull into the parking lot, there is truly a sense of entering holy ground."

Aside from parish life, the Pearsons love scavenger hunts and solving Doug's riddles to find hidden gifts!
