Have you ever felt discouraged because the road you’re traveling is taking longer than you expected?

Sometimes the hardest part of the journey isn’t where you’re going—it’s the way you have to get there.

In Numbers 21:4, the Bible tells us that the children of Israel became discouraged “because of the way.” They were tired of the journey, frustrated with the detour, and weary of the road ahead.

Sound familiar? Sometimes we get discouraged when God allows us to take a longer road than we planned. We wonder why things aren’t happening faster, why the answers haven’t come, or why the journey has to be so difficult.

But remember: A difficult road doesn’t mean God has abandoned you!

If you’re feeling discouraged today, don’t give up. Keep trusting God, keep taking the next step, and remember that He is still with you even when the journey doesn’t make sense.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
-Galatians 6:9

EVER FELT REJECTED?

The pain of rejection is real. But rejection doesn't have to define you.

Maybe someone you loved walked away. Maybe you weren’t invited, weren’t chosen, or weren’t included. Maybe you’ve been overlooked, pushed aside, or made to feel like you just weren’t good enough.

Rejection has a way of making us question our worth. We start wondering, “What’s wrong with me? Why wasn’t I enough?”

But what if the rejection you’ve experienced doesn’t determine your value?

In our next message in our Emotions Series, we’re looking at the painful reality of rejection and discovering an incredible truth from God’s Word.

Jesus Himself was rejected by men, yet He was chosen by God. The very One the world rejected became the cornerstone of our salvation!

People may reject you, but their rejection does not define your worth.

WHEN YOU FEEL ALONE

Have you ever been surrounded by people and still felt completely alone?

Loneliness has a way of changing our perspective. It can cause us to withdraw, become discouraged, focus on what we’ve lost, and even convince us that nobody understands what we’re going through.

Sometimes what we feel isn’t the same as what is true.

Maybe you’re in a lonely season right now. Maybe you’re hurting, discouraged, or wondering if anyone really sees what you’re going through.

God sees you. God knows you. And God is not finished with you.

Join us as we continue our “Emotions” series and look at what God’s Word teaches us about loneliness.
