Our first “Adult Life Class” was well attended and brings our church community closer together. We are so thankful for each mom, dad, grandparent, aunt and uncle who make up our church family. May God raise up strong Christian leaders to influence the next generation!

Back to School Sunday was amazing! We have been continually blessed by the ministry and support of Rev. Wheeler. He provided a huge assortment of back to school supplies, good advice from successful, highly educated Christian locals, and free chicken & fries from his son’s food truck. Christian community is inspiring and our church is extremely blessed!

We are excited to announce the beginning of a new ministry at Main Street Chapel!

Freedom School Ministries will kick off this fall in connection with Rothenburg Preparatory Academy. Kids will be given opportunity to choose “Freedom Classes” at Main Street Chaplel and walk across the street to our church for one class period on Wednesday & Thursday morning. We are blessed to be part of this academic community who cares about our next generation of Christian leaders!

You ask, how did this happen? ☺️
We are glad you want to know!

Last fall, after catching a vision to reach out to our public schools, we began handing out cookies two days a week after school to build connections with the teachers, staff and students. There was instant support and gratefulness for our church presence in the neighborhood. Teachers, staff, crossing guards and the principal were so welcoming!

Almost every one of the 1,000’s of cookies baked were made by staff and faculty wives at God’s Bible Scool & College. What a blessing to live in a caring community!

Gregory Hinton had long had a passion to participate in “release time” and stepped up with dedication to lead and connect with School Ministries Ohio to have legal support.

The week before meeting with Dan Coy who heads up School Ministries Ohio someone gave us $600 to help with our outreach. It was an extravagant gift…but in a few days we saw Gods hand at work when we realized $600 was the necessary amount to partner with School Ministries Ohio. Coincidence? 😉

The day after signing up with School Ministries, a leader from Wesley Chapel Mission Center stopped by our church. They have a thriving afterschool program down the street from our church and needed additional space. Within a few weeks, they were meeting in our building every day to mentor and help teens with their schoolwork. We were inspired by their support and community action!

Soon after, Kaitlyn Fox messaged me from Michigan wondering if she could somehow help in our church this fall…we quickly realized she was passionate about public school involvement and had a closet of school supplies from her attempts to start a “release time” in Michigan. God knew we needed her in Cincinnati and she will arrive this Saturday!

Too much has happened in one year for all the details coming together to be “coincidental”. God cares about people…and He loves children. We give Him ALL the glory and praise!

Our teens had a wonderful week at Heartland Bible Methodist Youth Camp! A few highlights were Kamontae memorizing all his scripture by the first night as well as being nominated for camper of the year, Antwan hitting his first baseballs, Renaisia & Z’Riah having devotions together before bed, Malik winning a big spiritual victory, Haley placing 3rd in Bible Quizzing and much worship given to Jesus and hearts softened to draw closer to Him.

We are so thankful for our teens. Many people commented to us leaders that they were outstanding in character and love for Jesus. Continue to pray for them as they follow Christ!
