Winter Storm Fern is expected to bring heavy snow, strong winds, and dangerous cold beginning Friday across Ohio and Northern Kentucky.

Forecasts from the National Weather Service show the potential for 4–6 inches of snow in the Greater Cincinnati region, with hazardous travel and wind chills dipping below zero.

As this system moves into our area, please take steps to stay safe:
🔹 Be alert — Follow updates from NWS Wilmington, Ohio EMA, and Kentucky Emergency Management.

🔹 Stay home if you can — Snow, ice, and freezing drizzle may create dangerous road conditions.

🔹 Check on your neighbors — Especially older adults, those with disabilities, and anyone who may need extra help.

🔹 Prepare now — Charge devices, gather blankets, stock up on essentials, and keep a flashlight handy.

🔹 Avoid travel during the height of the storm unless absolutely necessary; major disruptions are expected.

Let’s look out for one another and stay safe throughout this winter storm. ❄️🏠❤️
