Sometimes your friends get called to “go”. And while we are mourning the hole the Morris family will leave here, we are so proud, and we rejoice in their mission. It’s an honor to send them to Cuba as a church family. May God bless them richly. What is the gift of "tongues?" Is it for today? Should we practice tongues? We dove into 1st Corinthians 14 to find out.

We also had an impactful moment sending the Morris family on mission. We will miss them dearly but we are so excited for the impact they will have on the hurting nation of Cuba. We must continue to pray for them and uphold them as they do the Lord’s work in the nations. We love you, Morrises!

We're going to dive into 1st Corinthians 14 to explore what the Apostle Paul meant by "prophecy" and "tongues". The kids will be learning about God and having a blast in their classrooms! It's all unto living out our freedom in Jesus! See you there at 11.

We are working on finding out how to walk in the Spirit in a healthy way. This week we talked about “spiritual gifts”. The Apostle Paul is so clear with us. Spirit gifts are for the “common good” (1 Cor 12:7), he teaches us about love in chapter 13, and then starts chapter 14 with this: “Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit…” Spirit gifts are about loving the Lord, the church, and the world!

We are out here getting back to the way Scripture tells us how to walk in Spiritual Gifts. What are the gifts for? How do we walk in them? Does God still move today like he moved in the 1st century? It might be surprising. Let’s find out together.
