“Teach Us, O Lord, Teach Us to Pray”

Prayer is important. You can't learn how to pray just by watching someone else—you have to develop your own prayer life.

And here's the reminder: prayer changes people, not just situations. Prayer is for you too. Don't only pray for everyone else; make room to seek God for yourself.

✨ Sunday Takeaways:

Prayer is a relationship, not a request. Prayer isn't a shopping list. It's about knowing God and recognizing who He is in our lives.

Prayer gives us access to the Father. We can come to Him whenever we need Him. There is no magic formula or “abracadabra”—just relationship.

Praise, remember, and give thanks. Take time to acknowledge who God is and look back at what He's already done.

Prayer requires confession. Ask God to change your heart, attitude, thinking, desires, and anything that isn't aligned with Him.

Bring your petitions and intercede for others. Don't wait until you're in a crisis to pray. Pray for yourself, and pray for others.

Even when God says “wait,” don't quit. His timing may stretch your faith, but He can still blow your mind.

Your prayer life matters. Don't just pray when you need something—pray because you need Him. 🙏🏽
