Last Sunday, we put on the Helmet of Salvation.
We learned that victory begins in the mind as we stand firm in the assurance of who we are in Christ.

This Sunday, we conclude our Dressed for Battle series with the Sword of the Spirit—the Word of God.

When the enemy brings lies, God’s Word reveals truth. When challenges arise, God’s Word gives strength. The same Word Jesus used to overcome temptation is the weapon He has given us today.

Ephesians 6:17
« Take... the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. »

⛑️ Put on the helmet of salvation.

The enemy attacks the mind with doubt, discouragement, and despair. But the helmet of salvation reminds us of God’s saving work in every season.

When doubt comes, remember: you have been saved.
When discouragement comes, remember: you are being saved.
When despair comes, remember: you will be saved.

Guard your mind with the assurance that God finishes what He starts.

Last week, we raised the shield of faith.

This Sunday, we put on the helmet of salvation. Because some of the enemy’s fiercest battles are fought in the mind.

Fear. Lies. Confusion. Shame. Doubt.
But when you know who you are in Christ and remember what He has done for you, you can stand firm no matter what comes.

Ephesians 6:17
“Take the helmet of salvation...”

🛡️ Take up the shield of faith.

Faith is not the absence of questions. Faith is choosing to trust God in the middle of the battle.

When doubt comes, raise the shield.
When fear comes, raise the shield.
When the arrows fly, raise the shield.

This Sunday, we take up the shield of faith.

Because the enemy’s attacks don’t always come with force. Sometimes they come as doubt, fear, discouragement, and questions.

Faith doesn’t remove the battle—it helps you stand in the middle of it.

The peace of God is not the reward for a calm life — it is the equipment for an unstable one.

The “Shoes of Peace” remind us that the gospel was never meant to only save us once, but to sustain us daily. In every season of shaking, anxiety, pressure, and uncertainty, God gives His people a peace that stands firm when everything else moves.

You may not control the storm around you, but through Christ, you can stand on a foundation that cannot be shaken.

“The battle is over. The victory has already been secured.”
