This evening is our first Bible Quiz Practice!!! Don't forget to come by the church from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the youth room - We'll also have dinner served at 5:30 for those youth who are also attending Youth Group!
This year, we will be studying Acts 15 - 28 as well as Ephesians and Philippians. Why only the second half of Acts? Because the book of Acts is so long, the Free Methodist Bible Quiz program decided to divide it between years so as not to wear out the quizzers with so much material at once; it also allows them to study the course of Paul's travels while studying the letters he wrote to the people during those travels.
Therefore, this week's devotional will be going over a short recap of the beginning of Acts to give the kids some context to what they're about to study. We will then follow our recap with teaching the kids a variety of tools for studying the bible for memorization which will give them a starting point for how to look at the passages in the coming weeks and months.
