Last Sunday, we hosted a confirmation class celebration dinner! Trinity Lutheran Church, Mt. Healthy, OH, Hope Lutheran Church ELCA, and Dei Lutheran Church ELCA, and FLC joined to celebrate the completion of our shared confirmation journey. Special guests were Bishop Suzanne Dillahunt and Rev Bob Abrams of the Southern Ohio Synod ELCA! It was a delight to be together!

Last Saturday, the Center for Spiritual Enrichment (CSE) at First Lutheran Church held the "Transcendent Spaces" prayer service, an immersive-sound prayer service. It is an experience of peace in a chaotic and uncertain world. YOU are invited to come, be still, and join us for the next one. The CSE Open House is Saturday, May 16 12 pm - 3 pm. Come and explore all the CSE has to offer!

Join us in praying for the Northeastern Minnesota Synod, ELCA as they gather on April 24-26 for their Synod Assembly & prepare for their bishop election.

Almighty God, you have given your Holy Spirit to the church to lead us into all truth. Bless with the Spirit's grace and presence the people of the Northeastern Minnesota Synod as they prepare to elect a bishop. Keep them steadfast in faith and united in love, that they may manifest your glory and prepare for the way of your kingdom; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
