Join us on Saturday, November 14th at 11 am for our next Transcendent Spaces! Desert Fathers: A Journey into Stillness. Register: firstlutherancincy.org/cse or transcendentspaces.org

Step away from the distractions of modern life and enter the ancient world of the Desert Fathers, where silence, simplicity, and a deep longing for God shaped a life of contemplation. Through Transcendent Spaces, an immersive experience of spatial sound, story, breath, voice, and reflection, you are invited into a richly imagined journey through the desert wilderness. Along the way, guided meditations introduce the wisdom of early Christian monks as you explore the power of stillness, attentive listening, and the quiet presence of God. This experience invites you to move from distraction to clarity, discover new perspectives, and return with a renewed mind and deeper sense of purpose.

Fun Fact Friday! FLC's commitment to accessibility and inclusivity in worship has been seen since 1867 with the "Seats Free" policy. This was implemented following a proposal to begin to "rent pews" in a response to financial challenges.

Check back next Friday with another fun fact!
