It is with great sadness that the Lockland Christian Church will close her doors at the end of 2026. With the changes in the community over the years and also decline in membership with the church, we find it necessary to make this decision. Until that time, our members have been encouraged to keep attending, giving of their tithes/offerings, and reaching out to others with the Gospel. In January, 2027, the World Outreach Christian Church will begin using the building and property as new owners. This wonderful group of people have been sharing our building since October, 2025. We are grateful that this location will continue to be used for Christian ministry. Please pray for all of us during this time.

Two weeks ago, I announced my retirement from Lockland Christian Church. My last Sunday will be December 6, which means that I will have been at the church for 27 years and 1 day. That's a long time. This has been a very difficult decision to make, but I am doing this for the church. From that December date and forward, I will be expanding my "Grief Journeys" ministry. I will continue to conduct my seminars, write books and blogs. Also, I will continue to conduct funerals and weddings, and will fill pulpits when needed. Pray for the Church as the congregation searches for a new minister. God is good!
