So why is it that so many people today—even Christians—live under the oppression of fear and worry? I think that one reason is that they’ve trusted Christ for eternal life, but don’t honestly believe He can make a difference in their lives today. This gives the enemy a foothold, allowing him to create incessant anxiety in their lives.
But in Christ, you have the power to overcome because He has already overcome. You can tell the world and the enemy, “I’m not letting you steal my joy!”
This day, make it your goal to live in the joy of Jesus Christ, trusting fully that He can change not only your future, but your past and present as well because He has already overcome!
JESUS CHRIST CAN CHANGE NOT ONLY YOUR FUTURE, BUT ALSO YOUR PRESENT AND YOUR PAST. SO TRUST IN HIM TO GIVE YOU JOY AND HOPE FOR TODAY!

Keep Walking
My child, I know that your journey has been long and that at times you feel like giving up. However, the power lies in you, so keep on going. When you give up and fall to the ground, the land that I have given you is not being taken. So today, I want to encourage you to just keep on walking forward. No matter what you may have failed at or what pressure that you were under, my child, keep walking forward and keep entering into the land that I have for you, says the Lord.
The enemy wants to keep you down, because when you are down you are not taking land. He doesn't like you taking land. He doesn't want you to grow. Yet as you keep walking regardless of what is happening, that is when you take the land. So just take my hand now and hold on tight. I want to grow you. I want to give you more and bless you!
Keep on moving forward my child, for what lies ahead is victory. The land I have for you is a land flowing with milk and honey. So just trust in me and take each step one at a time, says the Lord. Amen.

SALVATION TO ALL WHO BELIEVE
THE SACRIFICE OF JESUS THE CHRIST OPENED THE WAY FOR US TO NOT ONLY APPROACH GOD, BUT ALSO TO ENTER INTO A HOLY RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE THAT KIND OF RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THEN GO TO GOD AND PRAY THE PRAYER OF SALVATION. READ BELOW TO LEARN HOW TO GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS SO YOU CAN RECEIVE HIS LIFE, WHICH HE GAVE FOR YOU.
Pray this prayer from your heart, and speak it out loud if you are able.
Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God and you became a man to suffer and die on a cross to pay the penalty for my sins, and I believe that you rose from the dead and you are alive, and you are Lord of the universe. I confess that I have sinned against you and against people, and I pray that you will forgive me and wash me clean through the blood that you shed on the cross. I pray that You and God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, will come and live in me and I will live in You. I give my life to You to do Your will and not my will. Please give me the faith to believe all the promises that You have written to me in Your Word the Holy Bible. Lord Jesus please baptize me in the Holy Spirit and fill me with your presence. Please give me the strength and the faith to accomplish the plans and the destiny that You have for me and give me the courage to be a witness for You. Please fill me with Your love and compassion for people so I can be like You, I pray all these things in Jesus name, Amen.
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. (Hebrews 10:19-22)
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy (compassion), and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

Dr. Donald Daniels Prayer Blog II
PLEASE READ!!!
Prayer is a Gift of God
To begin with, prayer is a gift of God. "Gift" is a good word to describe prayer, because praying is not something we can do of ourselves. " We do not know how to pray as we ought," scripture says. Prayer is a gift God must give.
And God gives that gift generously, without consideration of our worthiness or our unworthiness. Sinners as well as saints can pray. People of every religious tradition receive the gift. In fact, every human being is able to pray. The Catholic Catechism reminds us of that by entitling its opening section on prayer The Universal Call to Prayer. (2566-2567)
Yes, all are called to pray. All receive the gift. And, surprisingly, sometimes those thought to be "ungifted" pray best and are graciously heard. That's the lesson Jesus taught in his parable about the Pharisee and the Publican who together went up to the temple to pray. The Publican, an outsider who thought himself unworthy of approaching God in prayer, was found more pleasing by God than the Pharisee, a professionally religious person, who prayed so effortlessly.
Prayer, then, is God's gift to the strong and the weak, to the smallest child and frailest of the old. It's given to those who say, " I'm not really religious; prayer is beyond me." It's given to everyone, no matter who you are.
That's not to say we can't refuse to pray or we can't neglect it. Like any gift, prayer must be received. If someone gives you a beautiful piece of clothing, you may use it or not. You may take it and wear it. Or, you can throw it in the back of your closet and never look at it again. The piece of clothing becomes a gift unused. "If you knew the gift of God," Jesus said to the Samaritan woman at the well. A Gift was there before her eyes, but she was blind to it.
How tragic to go through life leaving the gift of prayer unused!

Power Of Prayer - How powerful is it?
The power of prayer should not be underestimated. James 5:16-18 declares, "…The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops." God most definitely listens to prayers, answers prayers, and moves in response to prayers.

Jesus taught, "…I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you" (Matthew 17:20). 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 tells us, "The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." The Bible urges us, "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints" (Ephesians 6:18).
Power Of Prayer - How do I tap into it?
The power of prayer is not the result of the person praying. Rather, the power resides in the God who is being prayed to. 1 John 5:14-15 tells us, "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him." No matter the person praying, the passion behind the prayer, or the purpose of the prayer - God answers prayers that are in agreement with His will. His answers are not always yes, but are always in our best interest. When our desires line up with His will, we will come to understand that in time. When we pray passionately and purposefully, according to God's will, God responds powerfully!

We cannot access powerful prayer by using "magic formulas." Our prayers being answered is not based on the eloquence of our prayers. We don't have to use certain words or phrases to get God to answer our prayers. In fact, Jesus rebukes those who pray using repetitions, "And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him" (Matthew 6:7-8). Prayer is communicating with God. All you have to do is ask God for His help. Psalm 107:28-30 reminds us, "Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven." There is power in prayer!
Power Of Prayer - For what kind of things should I pray?
God's help through the power of prayer is available for all kinds of requests and issues. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." If you need an example of a prayer, read Matthew 6:9-13. These verses are known as the Lord's prayer. The Lord's prayer is not a prayer we are supposed to memorize and simply recite to God. It is only an example of how to pray and the things that should go into a prayer - worship, trust in God, requests, confession, protection, etc. Pray for these kinds of things, but speak to God using your own words.

The Word of God is full of accounts describing the power of prayer in various situations. The power of prayer has overcome enemies (Psalm 6:9-10), conquered death (2 Kings 4:3-36), brought healing (James 5:14-15), and defeated demons (Mark 9:29). God, through prayer, opens eyes, changes hearts, heals wounds, and grants wisdom (James 1:5). The power of prayer should never be underestimated because it draws on the glory and might of the infinitely powerful God of the universe! Daniel 4:35 proclaims, "All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: 'What have you done?'

• spick-and-span •
Printable VersionPronunciation: spik-en-spæn • Hear it!
Part of Speech: Adjective
Meaning: 1. Brand new. 2. Absolutely clean, spotless.
Notes: Since Americans see the household cleaning products sold under the brand name 'S**c and Span' more often than the actual phrase, the spelling spic-and-span is generally accepted as a legitimate alternative to the original spick-and-span. As always, we prefer the original.
In Play: In most of the English-speaking world, today's Good Word still carries the meaning of newness: "When you say that you have a 'new' car, do you mean a new used car or a spick-and-span car?" This is a variant of the ancient epithet span-new "brand new", already in use in the 13th century. Today's Good Word more often, of course, refers to cleanliness: "When I get home from work today, I want to find your room not just tidy but spick-and-span!"
