In my readings this morning, what stuck out to me was Isaiah 9:12, 17, & 21 KJV,
"For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still."

This sentence was repeated 3 times after having stated the sins of the people.
I am so grateful to serve a God who, in spite of my shortcomings, despite my sins, He is ALWAYS waiting, with hand outstretched, to receive me, to bring me back to Him.
Such a forgiving, and long suffering God. Who accepts me without conditions.
Living in a world that constantly tries to wear/tear us down, how great to have an ever present, loving God desiring to exalt us.

If God be for us, who can stand against us? (Rom 8:31)
Not even ourselves, sometimes our own worst enemy.

In my devotions this morning, I ended at:
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! [2] It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;"
Psalm 133:1-2 KJV

And my thoughts went to....
I wonder how many of us (brethren/sisters), dwell together in TRUE unity, just in our individual churches?
Oh, I don't mean with the day to day pleasantries. You know, being cordial, surface stuff.
But I mean sharing our inner most thoughts with one another, good and bad.
Or do we out of fear, embarrassment, or any other excuse we can muster, keep it to ourselves, bottled up?
Do you realize that by doing the latter, we play right into the hands and plans of our enemy? We willing go right where he wants us.
We get isolated from where we can get love, support, and freedom for our spirits.
Truth makes us free.
(And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:32 KJV)
We are commanded to be there for one another, for the good and the bad.
(Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
Romans 12:15 KJV)
If we only share the good, how do we weep together? If we only share the bad how can we laugh together? How can we pray for one another's needs if we don't know the need?
Yes God knows, but He said for us to share them.
Please, don't rob someone of their blessing because of fear. That is not of God. He would not tell us to do a thing, if He didn't want it to be done.
