Missio Dei Church We are a community of believers located in the urban core of Cincinnati, joining Jesus in His mission to redeem the people in our city.

Missio Dei Church exists because we believe that God is on mission by the power of His Spirit, to rescue and redeem His people, transforming us into the image of His Son, so that culture begins to take on the image of His Kingdom. Missio Dei Church believes the advance of God’s Kingdom comes not through new ways of doing church, but through the ancient way of faithful preaching and contextualizing of the unchanging Gospel for a changing culture. Our desire is to see the people of Cincinnati forever changed by the Gospel of Jesus and holding dear to Him as their source of all joy and worth. Join us on Sundays at 9:00am and 11:00 am

Have you ever been knocked down by life and wanted to quit?

This week's message is a powerful reminder that it is never too late to get back up. As Proverbs tells us, a righteous man falls seven times and rises again. Scripture is full of people who held on long enough to see a breakthrough. And Philippians 1:6 reminds us that he who began a good work in you will carry it through to completion; God is not finished with you yet!

We are grateful for our local partner, .gym.ministries , for sharing Tom Lipsey with us this weekend. You can check out his sermon on the app!

Did you know? Missio Dei is considering joining a denomination!

This week, several of our leaders and staff members (and four sweet littles!) traveled to the regional EFCA conference in St. Joseph, Michigan to connect with ministry leaders and to learn more about the resources the EFCA offers.

Shout out to Brandon from River of Life Church !

Students Sunday Catechism is a time for our middle and high school students to gather on a Sunday morning to learn about the historic truths of the Christian faith, ask questions, and build a stronger foundation for following Christ.

Faith isn’t just something we inherit. It’s something we’re called to know and treasure as we become better disciples. 📖✝

After three years, we finally finished our sermon series, The Way! 🎉

In four final scenes after the Resurrection, Jesus challenges his followers to learn that life comes only in his living presence.

In what do we place our hope? Some of us seek life in closure, in control, or in companionship apart from Jesus. Yet the truth of the Gospel is that life is truly found only in union with the living Jesus.

Where are we investing our time? Who (or what) are we trying to honor? With whom do we seek companionship? Are we looking for Jesus’ presence in all we do?

May we continue to seek The Way of Jesus’ ongoing presence.

Listen to Kurt’s final sermon on Luke 24 on the app today!

Missio Students had a summer full of great opportunities to connect with the Lord, build community, and have a ton of fun. We sent 16 Students to Crossings Summer Camp in June, spent a Day on the River in July, and ended the summer in August with a Back to School Pool Party. And we remodeled our brand new space!

We are thankful forParents and Students for continuing to prioritize faith and community. We are excited to get back to our normal rhythms this fall with monthly events and Student Hangouts on Sunday Nights. Check the app for dates and details!

Missio Men gathered this past weekend for their annual fall retreat! 🍂

Pastor Casey Smith from Harbor Network led sessions on fighting spiritual apathy and reigniting a deeper closeness with the Lord. It was a weekend of good conversation, time in the Word, and space to grow together.

And, of course, these guys know how to have a little fun, too. From pool-based capture the flag to outdoor team-building challenges, there was plenty of competition, laughter, and probably a few friendships put to the test. Grateful for all who could join us!
