What can we say about our first Youth & Young Adults Encounter Night?! 🌬️🙇🏾‍♂️

From the tangible presence of God to a practical, yet sobering word entitled, “My Heart Can’t Hold This”, from our very own, Jasmine M. Phillips.

We learned about the different types of hearts: Stony, Hardened, Bitter, Anxious, and Wounded. Our hearts hold our will, mind, and emotions, but has your heart ever held more than it was designed to?

Ezekiel 36:26, “I will give you a new heart…I will remove the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” No matter the heart you started with, it doesn’t have to be the heart you continue with. 🙌🏾

We serve a God of the NEW HEART. 🫀

Pastor Miranda allowed the Lord to use her to give the body an encouraging word from the heart.

This month has been a reflection of the heart and we were taught that giving is a direct correlation of our hearts posture.

We do not give from obligation. We give because Christ gave his life for us. From that place, we are compelled to give to him and others.

We are growing from the inside out.
