Today in our diocesan Cycle of Prayer, faith communities across the Diocese of Southern Ohio pray for St. Mary’s, Waynesville and our Episcopal seminaries.

The Episcopal Church forms lay and clergy leaders at seminaries throughout the United States. Our principal, accredited seminaries include Berkley Divinity at Yale, Bexley Seabury Seminary, Church Divinity School of the Pacific, Episcopal Divinity School, General Theological Seminary, Nashotah House, the School of Theology at the University of the South (Sewanee), Virginia Theological Seminary, and the Seminary of the Southwest, which is featured in this image of the Rev. We all belong in the Beloved Community book study. On the first Tuesday of eac month, we gather, pray, and discuss a book the hosts believe will bring us closer to the dream God has for us as God's beloved children.

Our October, November, and December book is Kin by Tayari Jones, an Oprah's Book Club selection. We are creating a tradition of reading a work of fiction in the last quarter of the year!
