Good new good night

Do not stifle the Holy Spirit.-1 Thessalonians 5:19

What does the Holy Spirit feel like? It's an inner urge that can come gently or even forcefully to say words, connect people, or take action. Usually the result of the prompting of the Holy Spirit brings healing, strength and joy, only good things. It may not necessarily be clear to us in the moment how our words and actions bring healing. By stifling the Holy Spirit, we don't carry out the message we have received and stand in the way. The next time you feel the inner gut feeling to follow through on something, embrace it and let the Holy Spirit work through you.

The word says
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for YOU, declares the LORD." Dear Woman of God, Be still for a while and praise God for His favor, His grace and His awesomeness. God is able to do the impossible and is always near. He loves us unconditionally. Together, let's get 1000 ladies to praise Him with one voice in this next hour. Please forward this to every woman you want God to bless. Let's all say this prayer during this hour: Dear God, This is my friend whom I love and this is my prayer for her. Help her live her life to the fullest. Please promote her and cause her to excel above her expectations . Help her to shine in the darkest places where it is hard to love. Protect her at all times, lift her up when she needs You the most, and let her know when she walks with You, she will always be safe. Amen! Now you're on the clock . . .Tell nine sisters you love them, including me. Love You BELIEVE IN GOD!! 😉

Good morning!

You can make many plans, but the LORD's purpose will prevail. -Proverbs 19:21

Are you thinking of making changes in your life soon? You don't have to have everything figured out. That's the beautiful part of this verse. God will open the right doors to allow His will to be done. Trying to choose a college? Wondering about your living situation? Thinking of applying for a new position at work? God can handle it, just seek out His will by testing out different opportunities. Pray that God can show you His will for your life and ask for the courage to seek out new opportunities.

Isaiah 14:12-14
How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”

Satan wants us thinking, “I will make myself like the Most High.” Genesis 3:2-5 says, “The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ ‘You will not certainly die,’ the serpent said to the woman. ‘For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.’” Satan's goal has always been our fall. This is the kind of fall that corrupts our hearts and plants evil therein. Satan fell from heaven because He wanted to be God, and that was and is His all-consuming everything. May our hearts be penitent before the Lord. He is far greater than we ever will be.

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. -Ecclesiastes 4:9

There is nothing greater than a friend who walks beside you and encourages you. Sometimes we hear words from them we don't want to hear. Often their counsel is needed because they push us on to make us a better person. Do you have a friend or companion like this? If no one comes to mind, it's time to look through your phone's contact list. Find one person who can benefit from your friendship and make plans to eat a meal with them. Be the friend that helps others succeed.

Philippians 1:6
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ

So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abraham's. For Abraham is the father of all who believe. -Romans 4:16
God declares people righteous, blameless, and sinless, not because we do anything to deserve it, but because we choose to believe God is good. Anyone who chooses to believe in God's goodness as the perfect father and puts their faith in Him will be covered for their weaknesses. Abraham chose to believe and he was considered righteous. Days happen where we can never do the right thing, say the right words, act the right way, or we just don't feel good enough. Don't worry, your belief in God will cover you when you don't feel like enough.

"Have I tried to hide my sins like other people do, concealing my guilt in my heart?" -Job 31:33

When we are confronted with our sins, it's natural to want to hide it. Sometimes, we even go so far as to hide them with lies. However, trying to deceive others of our sins is futile, it tends to come out anyways. We cannot hide from God what is in our hearts. Recognizing our sins is the first step on a path of being free from carrying the weight of hiding our sin. Let's free ourselves from deception and acknowledge our sins.

God Has Been Your Help
“When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches, for You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy. My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.” Psalms 63:6-8 (KJV)

Sometimes I have to steal away for a moment to be alone-just me and God and sometimes can't say anything, yet God knows everything I want to say. I'll open the Bible and He began to comfort me with this Psalm, speaking directly to my heart with His Word. ”When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches, for You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy. My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.” David’s prayer became my prayer. His words touched a place so deep within me. I had to remember that God had been my help throughout the years of my life. He had been there in every difficult situation and had proven Himself to be real time and time again. It was then that I resolved in my heart that if God had been my help then, He would be my help now, and I would do just as David did and rejoice and sing for joy in the protective shadow of His wings. God has been your help. Has He not? If He was your help then, He will be your help now. He will see you through it. And when you don’t know what to pray, when you have no words, let someone’s prayer in the Bible become your own. Let your soul cling to God and feel Him upholding you with His right hand.

He [Jesus] must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less. (NLT) -John 3:30
It's so natural for us to focus on our accomplishments and want to bolster our image. The problem with this thinking is it's selfish. When we focus on humbling ourselves, we step aside and let Christ shine. How can we become less important? A few steps can make a difference such as seeking others' opinions or not being afraid to make mistakes. In addition, allowing Jesus to become a greater influence in our lives increases His importance to us. Open yourself up to increasing God and decreasing yourself.

For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them. -Matthew 18:20
The meaning of going to church, or gathering as Christ followers, is very important. The foundation is to grow your relationship with God and getting closer to Him. It is a pathway to experiencing and connecting with God. When we connect with God regularly, it strengthens our other relationships with friends and family. Going to church won't make you a better person, instead, it connects you with God. When you connect with God, your heart turns towards Him and desires to be more godly.
