A chapter a day keeps us walking with God.
This week we’re journeying through the Book of Genesis, one chapter at a time. From creation to the covenant, from the beginning of the world to the beginnings of God’s people, every page points us back to His promises.

Memory Verse of the Week:
“After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: ‘Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.’”
Genesis 15:1 (ESV)

As you read each chapter this week, ask yourself:
• What is God saying to me today?
• How can I apply it to my life?

Fear not. He is your shield. Your reward is in Him.

Let’s go back to the beginning.

This week’s EDV Youth Ministry Memory Verse is Genesis 1:26

“Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…’” Genesis 1:26 (ESV)

God intentionally created each one of us in His image. That means your life has value, purpose, and the ability to reflect His character to the world around you.

Take time to memorize Genesis 1:26 in English or Spanish and remember: you were made by God and for God.

🔥GENESIS: Let’s Go Back to the Beginning
We’re starting a brand-new youth series through the book of Genesis—not just to read the Bible, but to learn how to truly study it, understand it, and live it out every day.
Together, we’ll go back to the beginning and discover who God is, who He created us to be, and how His truth applies to our lives right now.
Bring your:
• Personal Bible
• Notebook
• Pen
• Highlighters
Come ready to ask questions, take notes, grow in God’s Word, and build habits that will help you follow Jesus beyond youth night.
See you
