St. Teresa of Avila School is looking for a School Janitor to join our school team and help keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming for our students and staff!

This is a year-round, Monday–Friday position with no weekends. School-year hours are 11:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m. (including a 30-minute lunch), and summer hours are 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

The position pays $16.00 per hour and includes benefits, including medical.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, takes initiative, can work independently, and takes pride in keeping our school clean and well maintained. Previous cleaning or custodial experience is preferred, and experience with commercial cleaning equipment is a plus—or a willingness to learn!

🔨 Restoration work continues at St. Teresa!

Not a day goes by that our maintenance teams are not hard at work somewhere across our campuses—repairing, restoring, improving, and caring for the beautiful spaces entrusted to us.

Today, Anthony is beginning the much needed restoration of the crucifix outside Avila Hall at St. Teresa. Years of exposure to the elements have taken their toll, and with scaffolding now in place, work is underway to carefully address the rust and bring this treasured crucifix back to its best.

There is always something happening behind the scenes to care for our churches, schools, and grounds—and we are so grateful for the people who make it happen.

Synod 2027 has been designed to encourage broad participation from across the archdiocese. By participating in a Conversations in the Spirit session, you will join others across our archdiocese in prayerfully considering what the Holy Spirit is asking of our Church at this time. 🙏❤️ This is your opportunity to contribute to Synod 2027 and assist Archbishop Casey as he establishes pastoral priorities for the future. Sessions are offered in two formats: location sessions open to all, and cohort sessions designed to hear from specific groups of people. 🤝
