Check out the delicious selection of home-baked goods after Mass this weekend, and support our parish's American Heritage Girls (AHG) Troop 3712!
Through AHG, girls ages 5-18 learn life skills through a multi-level badge program, develop teamwork and confidence through outdoor activities, provide consistent service to the community, and develop socially and spiritually through regular troop meetings and faith-based activities.
This bake sale is AHG's only fundraiser of the year. Your generosity is appreciated!

Each October, the Church celebrates World Mission Month, inviting us to reflect on our baptismal call to join in its mission to bring all people into communion with God. This year’s theme, “One in Christ, United in Mission,” reminds us of the unity we share in Christ and our responsibility to support the Church’s missionary work around the world.
⁣
Blessed Fulton J. Sheen, known for his TV presence, preaching, and charismatic personality, said his “greatest love,” however, had “always been the missions of the Church.” Under his leadership (1950–1966), World Mission Sunday became a defining moment in the life of the Church in the United States.

⁣
St. Ignatius will have a second collection on October 18 for World Mission Sunday, which provides financial support to mission dioceses for churches, seminaries, convents, pastoral centers, and other resources needed to sustain missionary life and proclaim the Gospel. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

As part of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s Beacons of Light initiative, St. Ignatius is participating in a process called Family Unity Discernment (FUD). The next step in this process is the Reflect Synod, an opportunity for our parish to come together, listen, and prayerfully consider how we can best use the resources God has entrusted to us to carry out our mission of forming and sending missionary disciples.
⁣
All St. Ignatius parishioners are invited to participate on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Loyola Hall. The day will include presentations and discussion on topics such as parish finances, buildings, sacraments, and evangelization. If you can't attend the entire event, we encourage you to join us from 10 a.m. to noon, or for as long as you are able.
⁣
Everyone has a role to play in the life of our parish, and we hope you will take this opportunity to be part of looking toward the future of St. Ignatius. Register at https://bit.ly/ReflectSynod26.

Bring the family to join us this weekend for Donut Sunday, and watch your donuts closely (they're that good)!

St. Ignatius will have a second collection on October 18 in support of World Mission Sunday. This collection grants funds to mission dioceses, which help provide for the basic physical footprint that keeps missionary life going: where priests live, where sisters live, where children are catechized, where formation and pastoral work can happen, and where Holy Mass can be celebrated, often for the first time.
Part of the funds are used to help missionary dioceses run and survive, while the rest of the funds are used to build churches, seminaries, convents, and pastoral centers. In an average year, WMS helps to fund over 900 infrastructure-related projects for the Church!

Each October, the Church in the United States celebrates Respect Life Month, and the first Sunday of October is observed as Respect Life Sunday. As Catholics, we are called to cherish, defend, and protect those who are most vulnerable, from the beginning of life to its end, and at every point in between. During the month of October, the Church asks us to reflect more deeply on the dignity and gift of every human life.
There will be a second collection at Mass this weekend for the Archdiocesan Respect Life Fund. The Respect Life Fund helps support local Crisis Pregnancy Centers, educational resources, advocacy groups, and other local organizations whose work supports a Culture of Life right here in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. In short, the Respect Life Fund helps save lives.
