Seth Ducasse has officially started his first day on the job as our new Director of FOCUS Cincinnati!! Seth has served with us since our inception with our advisory and fundraising committees and we are so excited and thankful to have him take on this new role!! Thank you Seth for all you have done for FOCUS Cincinnati and may God bless and guide you as you continue to grow and develop this ministry!

On June 27, 28 & 29 we will welcome our neighbors and community to help us celebrate our 50th PANEGYRI Festival. What a celebration it will be!

We have begun to gather in the church’s kitchen and halls to prepare thousands of
delicious pastries for our guests to enjoy. Many THANKS to the volunteers who came out on March 6th & 13th (pictured below) who assembled 230 pans of baklava. That seems like it should be enough but we always sell out!

We encourage all of our parishioners to come and join us as we prepare these delicious
and very much anticipated Greek pastries even if you have never made them before. We'll show you how! Please mark your calendars and come help.

As we approach winter, a cover crop of seeds spread over and raked into the 6000' surface of the community garden takes root to reduce erosion and new w**d growth while increasing soil fertility and nitrogen availability for spring plants. Fall is also the time to plant garlic. We put in 500 cloves that will be harvested in July of 2025. Each clove will become a new bunch of garlic!

Harvested produce is supplied at no cost to visitors of the Good Shepherd Food Pantry and guests at hot meals prepared and provided monthly at Holy Trinity - St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and at Christ the Savior Orthodox Church. Both are located in Cincinnati, OH.
