God uses small, seemingly insignificant things, such as drops of water, to bring together something greater and much more powerful, like a mighty ocean. The Book of Mormon prophet Alma shares this idea, “..by small and simple things are great things brought to pass” (Alma 37:6)

We should never discount the little actions we take each day that bring us closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ!

Heavenly Father’s plan for us has always involved families!

As taught in “The Family: A Proclamation to the World”, “Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities.”

Under the direction of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ created the earth. The Lord speaks to us in Moses 6:63, and puts it simply, “...all things are created and made to bear record of me, both things which are temporal, and things which are spiritual; things which are in the heavens above, and things which are on the earth, and things which are in the earth, and things which are under the earth, both above and beneath: all things bear record of me.”

It is so important that we appreciate the creations around us, and recognize that they testify of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father!

The Sacrament provides us with a time to ponder and remember with gratitude the life, ministry, and Atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ.
The broken bread is symbolic of His body and physical suffering for us.
The water is symbolic of the blood He shed in intense anguish, both in Gethsemane and on the cross.

“...What manner of man is this, that even the winds and sea obey him!” (Matthew 8:27)

Under the direction of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ created the earth and every living thing thereon.
He holds power to heal the unhealable, cleanse the unclean, and bring peace to the violent storms.
The same Savior who calms the sea will even walk on that water and lift you out of it.

Jesus Christ is the Master Healer!

“And he said unto them
…Have ye any that are sick among you? Bring them hither. Have ye any that are lame, or blind, or halt, or maimed, or leprous, or that are withered, or that are deaf, or that are afflicted in any manner? Bring them hither and I will heal them, for I have compassion upon you..and he did heal them every one as they were brought forth unto him.
And they did all, both they who had been healed and they who were whole, bow down at his feet, and did worship him; and as many as could come for the multitude did kiss his feet, insomuch that they did bathe his feet with their tears.”
(3 Nephi 17:6-10)

The Savior’s gift of healing is available to all!

Some days can feel dark, and some paths can feel uncertain.
“There arose a mist of darkness…” (1 Nephi 8:23)
But Heavenly Father has not left us without guidance and support.
“And I beheld a rod of iron… and led to the tree.” (1 Nephi 8:19)
As we hold to His word, He will lead us. Even when things feel unclear, He knows the way.

The tree and the peace it represents are still there, no matter how lost you may feel.
