Today we honor the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Jesse Jackson — minister, civil rights champion, and a global voice for justice.

Reverend Jackson dedicated his life to the work of faith in action. With courage and conviction, he stood on the front lines of the struggle for civil rights, economic equality, and human dignity. From marching alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to founding the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, he challenged America to live up to its highest ideals and to make room at the table for all people.

He spoke hope to the discouraged, opportunity to the overlooked, and justice to the oppressed. His voice became a rallying cry for unity, empowerment, and the belief that change is possible when people stand together.

We extend our heartfelt prayers and condolences to his family, colleagues, and all who were impacted by his ministry and leadership. May they find comfort in knowing that his life’s work has shaped generations and that his legacy will continue to inspire the ongoing pursuit of justice and equality.

Rest well, servant of God.
