Join the Covenant Choir and the Choral Scholars for a sing-a-long performance of selections from Handel's beloved Messiah. The choir will be presenting the Christmas portion of Messiah on Sunday, December 3 at 3 PM. Covenant-First’s Choral Scholars (mostly current students or alumni from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music) are singing the solos. Come and hear these wonderful singers in these well-known solos. However, for the choruses, Covenant-First Music Director Yolanda Ortiz-Parker and the choir want you to help them! This is a sing-a-long, and you are invited to join in on the choruses. Scores will be provided, but if you have your own, please bring it! The evening will conclude with the Hallelujah Chorus. Invite your friends, singers or not. We want this to be a way to make music with singers from all around the area. And, if you are not a singer yourself, there will be more than enough singing to go around — plan to come, listen, and hear the Christmas story through song; you will certainly find yourself humming along at least occasionally! Three organists will share the accompaniment: Covenant-First Organist Andrew Hackett, CCM alumnae Dr. Stella O’Neill, and current CCM DMA student/Covenant-First Organ Scholar Christie Lee. Join us!

Free validated parking will be provided in the adjacent Park Place Parking garage.
