We were thrilled to have families join us at our kickoff event on Sunday night! It was a wonderful time of fellowship and created space for children to meet some of the people that they are with this week at VBS.

Last night, we had a fun filled first night as we set out on our jungle cruise! We are looking forward to continuing our cruise tonight!

Our Vacation Bible School is in less than a week! We are so excited and have been praying and preparing for your kids to have an amazing week of VBS. If you have not signed your child up you can still do so, the link is attached here. We look forward to meeting you and your family on Sunday June 23rd at our open-house style VBS kickoff event from 5:00-6:30. A light dinner will be provided and there will be space for fellowship and a chance to meet some of the people that your children will be spending the week with at VBS.

When registering your child please make sure you enter their grade for Fall of 2024.Children 4 years old (by June 24) through 6th grade (fall of 2024).With Jungle Journey, your kids will explore the biblical answers to these questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation.....

We are excited to announce that this year's Vacation Bible School theme is “The Great Jungle Journey”! We will cruise through the bible while making stops at 7 ports of call: creation, corruption, catastrophe, confusion, christ, cross, and consummation.

Our VBS this year is Monday June 24th through Thursday June 27th. Each night we will begin at 6:15pm and go to 8:45pm. To register your child(en) for VBS, please click this link https://hsc.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/1819596.

We will also be hosting a kickoff event on Sunday night June 23rd from 5:00-6:30 pm that is for the whole family. This event will be an open house style event. There will be dinner and a chance to meet and see some of what your children will do throughout the week.

We do ask that if you plan to come to the kickoff event that you RSVP by June 16th so that we can plan accordingly for food. You can RSVP to [email protected] with how many people will be attending. We look forward to meeting all of you!

We pray that you have had a wonderful start to your new year! We are excited to announce our Vacation Bible School dates are June 24-27th, 2024. This year we will also be hosting a kickoff event for families on Sunday June 23rd so mark your calendars for that day as well. The VBS team looks forward to serving your kids this year at VBS! Registration will be opening on April 14th.

We had a wonderful time at the gingerbread party this past Saturday. Thanks to those of you who came out to join us! It was such a joy to spend Saturday morning with you all. Hope that you have a wonderful week!

Don't forget that the Gingerbread House Party is this Saturday December 2nd from 9am-11am. Please let Grace Kaufman know ASAP if you will be attending with your family ([email protected]). We will gather in the Family Life Center to enjoy refreshments and building/decorating our gingerbread houses. The cost is $12 for the first house and $14 for each additional house. We still have some houses left, so please invite others to come as well. We look forward to starting the holiday season with you all! If you have questions, feel free to reach out to Grace Kaufman.

I have not yet been able to read this months books from Foundation Worldview Book Club. However, I have been enjoying listening to their podcasts which have been helpful in thinking through different questions. So I wanted to share it with you all the books recommended by them.

We had an amazing week with your kids learning about the armor of God and hearing the Gospel! Your kids asked some really great questions and had a true desire to learn. It was really fun watching them grow and get to know one another and their leaders. We want to thank you for trusting us with your kids this week at VBS. It might not have been the week we planned due to weather, but it was a great week nonetheless.

Tomorrow, we would love to see you at our 10:30 Sunday service to look back at VBS! The kids will sing a VBS song and there will be a video recap of the week.

We had another fun-filled night of VBS! So far we have learned about four out of the five pieces of armor! We also had a blast with dress up night last night. All of the kids that participated really did a great job coming up with costumes. Tonight is the last night of VBS! We hope to see you there!

Despite the hazy conditions, we had a wonderful time during Night 2 of VBS! Our kids learned about the "belt of truth" described in Ephesians 6:14, and the Gospel message was clearly presented during lesson time, science and puppets, drama, and more. We praise God for the work he is doing this week! Here are some pictures from night 2.
