Please join us for our annual Losar celebration on Sunday, February 22 from 10:00AM - 12:00PM. We will be doing a Green Tara sadhana practice followed by lunch offered by sangha members. Everyone is welcome.

Losar is the first day of the Tibetan lunar calendar. It is a New Year's celebration where we have the auspicious opportunity to gather together as a community and renew our commitments to practice for the benefit of all beings.

Sometimes what we may often overlook as ordinary—such as a popular song lyric or even a common prayer—can contain a treasure trove of meaning that we originally didn't anticipate, bringing us to a clearer understanding of the teachings.

​On behalf of the Chicago KTC Sangha, thank you, Khenpo Sangye Trinley, for your clear and illuminating instruction on our beloved Mahamudra Lineage Prayer. Thank you for bringing it more alive in our hearts and helping us discover its more profound meaning. We truly had two beautiful evenings, and we hope to see you again soon.

We are just days away!

The Mahamudra Lineage Prayer is a beloved text chanted in centers across the world at the beginning of a practice session. It is not only a prayer of supplication, but it also contains concise instructions on Mahamudra, helping students achieve an understanding of the true nature of mind.

If you would like to learn more about this beautiful text, please join us on Wednesday and Thursday, October 22-23 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm for teachings by Khenpo Sangye Trinley.

This teaching is free and open to all levels of practice, including beginners.

There is plenty of free public parking just one block south of KTC.
