As you can see from this, 2:00—4:00 pm, Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, San Antonio & Austin will hold a joint drill practice in the green space across from the Saddle Creek Addition swimming pool. The pool is located at 200 Tumbleweed Run in Cibolo, Tx 3 or 4 blocks away from where we had the mess in Dec. Driving directions are below. Uniform is Khaki drill or equivalent. Everyone is encouraged to participate in Drill practice. Please let me know if you will be attending by Friday. Jan. 19, 2013.

Subject: Drill practice coordination
Dorje Kasung,
I am moving forward with the intent of our regional leadership to get our squads together for the anticipated drill practice on 26 January in Cibolo. The focus of the drill practice is mind/body synchronization and actively raising Lungtha. This training event will provide our squads the opportunity to; train together and establish esprit de corps, assay our manpower for upcoming regional events, and it will give key leaders a venue to plan for the fast approaching visit of the President, Mr. Richard Reoch.
The schedule of events would be;
1345 - meet at the designated location in Cibolo ( Mr. McWhorter can provide the directions)
1400 - Uniform inspection and drill practice led by our Regional NCO, Corporal McLean
1600- Key leader meeting.
The field uniform will consist of;
Kasung service pin (duty) and KOS pin (if authorized)
Khaki baseball cap or patrol cap
Khaki button down shirt, Khaki slacks ( Matching is preferred to two-tone)
Black boots ( or jungles ) with OD socks
Optionally, an OD sweater or field jacket can be included for cold weather.
It has been suggested that the squads meet individually at their respective centers prior to the training event to ensure everyone has their uniform and to coordinate transportation. This could be a chance for Squads to gather for lunch before the trip to Cibolo.
The Key Leader meeting will be a forum for establishing roles and responsibilities for the upcoming Presidential visit and to get our Squads synchronized on details. Rusung Powell is also preparing a document to share that will allow Dorje Kasung to facilitate planning/ staffing track upcoming events in the region
Once the leadership has considered this plan; barring any other considerations or changes, the next step is to officially announce the training event to all active Dorje Kasung in the region ASAP.
