What a night we had last night! 💙 Thank you to all the amazing families who joined us for Parents’ Night Out! We hope the kids had a blast and that parents enjoyed some well-deserved time to relax, recharge, or enjoy a night out. 🥰

Thankful for a wonderful summer of learning and growing during our Rooted classes and Summer Fun Nights. We celebrated the end of our classes with a special family dinner filled with fellowship, laughter, and gratitude. Thank you to all of our students, families, volunteers, and teachers who made this season such a blessing. We pray everyone has a safe and joyful remainder of the summer as we look forward to all that God has in store! ❤️

Last Sunday Mr. Chris taught us about the widow who would not give up, from Luke 18:1-8.
Our takeaway is God’s kingdom grows when you pray and don’t give up.
We also learned the foundational truth that God is loving. 1John 4:8 tells us that God is love. We are grateful.

Last week Pastor Alison taught us about the importance of community. Reminding all of us that we need each other in this journey of faith. We played games, in teams, to illustrate Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

“Two people are better than one. They can help each other in everything they do. Suppose either of them falls down. Then the one can help the other one up. But suppose a person falls down and doesn’t have anyone to help them up.”

So much fun! We can’t wait to see everyone tonight for our family fun night. Dinner, sno-cones, face painting, a bounce house, music and true community are waiting for us. See you soon!

Last week at camp we talked about experiencing God. Mrs. Pam taught us this through scripture, worship and trying new foods. Each student created several different dips to try with fresh bread. Delicious! There were some interesting combinations. Our kids left with smiles, full tummies and the truth in their hearts that you can “taste and see that the Lord is good!”

Last Sunday we had our Kids Breakfast made by Ms. Kathy. She’s the best! It was delicious. We focused our teaching on the parable of the talents and ended the morning going over the foundational truth that God is everywhere! We can’t wait to see all our friends tomorrow at 10 am.

Last week, during Summer Fun Nights, Ms. Lexi taught us how to
make Bible book charms and book marks. She emphasized the charms our kids chose and related it to how God has made each one of us in His image. That we are deeply loved, and made to make a difference where we are.
