McPheeter's Bend Missionary Baptist Church McPheeters Bend Missionary Baptist Church is a place to belong, believe, and become. Everyone is welcome at The Bend! In 1784 , Samuel McPheeters, Sr.

We are passionate about worship, discipleship, and serving our community with the love of Christ. and his wife, Margaret , were given a land grant of 300 acres south of the Holston River . They had come from Virginia to settle in the area now known as McPheeter's Bend . Sometime before or around 1800, McPheeter's Bend Missionary Baptist Church was started . The church was formally constituted and

accepted in the Holston Association in 1803 . This group of believers gathered to worship , witness ,and serve .They had a vision to reach the community for Jesus Christ ! Praise God that now over 200 years later we still have the same goals ! What an amazing evening at Boomsday!

Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us! We loved seeing so many families and friends enjoying the food, fellowship, fun, and the Benny Berry Memorial Firework Show.

A special thank you to everyone who worked, donated, cooked, served, set up, cleaned up, and helped make the evening possible. We couldn’t do it without you!

We hope everyone had a great time and wish you and your family a safe and Happy Labor Day!

Don’t forget This Sunday is Boomsday at The Bend!

Join us Sunday, September 6th, starting at 5:00 PM for one of our favorite nights of the year! We’re looking forward to an evening full of food, fellowship, and fun for the whole family.
We’ll have cake walks, watermelon eating contests, icees, games, and plenty more — then we’ll cap off the night with our Benny Berry Memorial Firework Show!

What a special Sunday at The Bend!

Today was Youth Sunday, and we are so proud of each of our young people and the way they stepped up to serve. From helping throughout the service to using their gifts for the Lord, it was such a blessing to see the next generation actively involved in the life of our church.

We are thankful for each of them and excited to see how God continues to work in and through their lives. What a great day at McPheeter’s Bend!

This Sunday is Youth Sunday at McPheeter’s Bend, and we’re looking forward to a special day together! Our youth will be serving in different roles throughout the morning, and we’re excited to share that Hunter Hendrickson will be bringing the message during our Worship Service.

Sunday School — 9:45 AM
Worship Service — 10:45 AM
Evening Service — 6:00 PM

Come support and encourage our young people as they serve and use their gifts for the Lord. We’re thankful for the next generation at The Bend and hope you’ll join us this Sunday!

Midweek Bible Study is Tonight at 6:00 PM!
Wednesday nights are a great time to come together, recharge, and grow in God’s Word!
We have classes for all ages, including Nursery, Kids, Youth, and Adults.

Our adults will be continuing their study on Christian Discipline, while our kids and youth enjoy Bible study designed just for them.

If you haven’t been out on Wednesday nights lately, now is a great time to jump in! There’s a place for you and your whole family.
