We don't have to work hard to stand out anymore. Simply being kind, tenderhearted, and peaceful makes us radically different in today's culture. Jesus calls us to go the extra mile, to refuse retaliation, and to use our words to heal rather than harm. Our greatest witness isn't how loudly we defend ourselves, but how differently we respond.

This Memorial Day weekend, we're reminded of those who sacrificed everything for our freedom, and ultimately of Jesus, who gave His all on the cross so we could have eternal life. The world doesn't need more angry Christians. It needs believers full of truth, grace, compassion, and Jesus.

Let's be the breath of fresh air this world desperately needs.
