Doors open and fellowship begins at 6:00pm, with worship starting at 6:19pm. Come check it out, bring a friend, and be a part of something brand new. We are so excited to see what God is going to do through this ministry!

⚓ Introducing: 6:19 College Ministries

"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain." -Hebrews 6:19

We're excited to announce the launch of a brand-new ministry for college students and young adults here at First Baptist Church Hill, built on this very hope!

Our hope is anchored in Christ Jesus alone. He is the One who entered beyond the veil, into the Holy of Holies of the more perfect, heavenly tabernacle (Heb. 9:11), to intercede for us before the Father. Because our great High Priest has gone before us, our souls have an anchor that will never fail.

6:19 College Ministries is a weekly gathering designed for college students and young adults to build genuine community, deepen their faith, and stay anchored in Christ.

🚗 Cruise-In 2026! 🌭

Join us on Sunday, September 27, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Activities Building (142 East Main Blvd., Church Hill, TN) for an evening of classic rides, fellowship, and fun!

Admission is 100% FREE, and we’ll have hot dogs and door prizes for everyone to enjoy. Bring your family, invite your friends, and come check out some incredible cars!

✨ Midweek Bible Study: TONIGHT at 6:00 PM! ✨

This week we dive into Acts 27–28 and Colossians 1–3! We'll follow Paul through a dramatic shipwreck on his journey to Rome, watching God's faithfulness and provision even in the storm. Then we'll turn to Colossians, where Paul lifts up the supremacy and sufficiency of Christ and calls us to put off our old ways and put on the new life we have in him.

It is easy to accept Jesus as Savior while still holding tightly to control of our relationships, finances, and futures. But God does not want some of you. He wants all of you. And the beautiful promise attached to this Beatitude is that the meek, those who fully surrender, shall inherit the earth. Not because they seized it, but simply because they belong to the family.

🥞 This Sunday at First Baptist Church Hill is going to be a great one, and it starts with PANCAKES! 🥞

Our Revolution Student Ministries (RSM) will be hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser in the Activities Building from 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM to help raise money for summer camp! No matter which service you normally attend, we encourage you to come a little early, grab some breakfast, and show our students some love. Every bite helps send a student to camp!

This Sunday, Pastor Dustin continued our journey through the Beatitudes with a message that challenges us to look inward. In Matthew 5:4, Jesus says that those who mourn are blessed and will be comforted. But what kind of mourning is He talking about?

True, godly mourning begins when we see God for who He truly is. He is holy, holy, holy, ust as Isaiah witnessed in Isaiah 6. When we catch even a glimpse of God's holiness, we stop pointing fingers at everyone else and start examining our own hearts.

The good news is that Jesus does not expose our sin to shame us. He exposes it to heal us. As David prayed in Psalm 51, God comforts us not by ignoring our sin but by forgiving it completely through the cross of Jesus Christ.
