When life gets hard and you're doing everything right, why does it feel like the world is pushing back? This Father's Day, we explored 1 Peter 3:13-22. We discovered that we don't live FOR victory; we live FROM victory because Jesus has already won.

Peter reminds us that when pressure turns up, we don't panic. Instead, we sanctify Christ as Lord in our hearts and stay ready to share the hope within us, with gentleness and respect. Our character matters. Our witness matters. And even in suffering, we can be blessed because our hope isn't in circumstances; it's in our risen Savior.

The tomb is empty. The throne is occupied. Jesus wins. So when the world asks why you're different, why you have peace in the chaos, be ready to point them to the One who suffered once for all to bring us back to God.

Keep standing. Keep speaking truth. Keep carrying a hope that won't back down.

🌊 Baptism Sunday is Coming July 26th! 🌊

Mark your calendars! On Sunday, July 26th, FBCH will be celebrating Baptism Sunday in two special ways:

10:30am — Baptisms during our regular morning service
2:00pm — River baptisms at the Laurel Run Park Boat Ramp

Come be a part of this exciting day as we celebrate believers taking this important step of faith!

If you would like to be baptized, please contact the church office as soon as possible so we can prepare for you. We don't want to miss the opportunity to celebrate this milestone with you!

What if the very thing blocking God's power in your life isn't the culture around you, but the pride within you?

Remember: "When pride walks in, God walks out." James 4:6 reminds us that God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Pride makes God our opponent, rejects His authority, and refuses repentance. It's the kryptonite that stops revival dead in its tracks.

The question isn't when will God send revival; it's are we willing to empty ourselves of pride so He can fill us? Like Abraham with Isaac, God is asking: Will you surrender ALL? Revival begins where pride ends. It starts when we stop being impressed with ourselves and become desperate for God.

Join us as we learn to pray, "Lord, empty me of me" and watch what God can do with a humble heart surrendered completely to Him.

✨ A HUGE thank you to our incredible Illumination Station VBS volunteers! ✨

What a week at FBCH! Whether you were wrangling energetic kiddos, handing out snacks, leading crafts, telling Bible stories, running games, setting up decorations, or simply showing up with a servant's heart, YOU made this week possible, and we are so grateful.

This year, our kids discovered that while many people are in the dark about who Jesus really is, the truth shines bright: Jesus is the Messiah, the promised and perfect Son of God. 💡

Because of your time, your energy, and your love for these children, hearts were illuminated, lives were changed, and memories were made that will last a lifetime. You let your light shine, and it made all the difference.

To every volunteer who gave a day, a week, or countless hours behind the scenes, THANK YOU! 🙌
