This past weekend we celebrated the USA turning 250 years old. This weekend we will be celebrating Mt Pleasant Baptist Church turning 196 years old that means just 54 years after the USA was formed this small Church in Newton County was formed. This was the first Church in Newton County, and now the oldest one that many churches have formed from this one Church that stands for God.
