Sunday school starts at 10am for all ages with worship services at 11am and 4pm. We will be in Matthew 14 looking at who our Savior is!

What God calls you to do is of far greater importance than what the world may call you. Tomorrow, we look to Jesus as He revisits His earthly hometown as we continue in the Gospel of Matthew.

Has your lawnmower ever had an issue you needed to fix? Have you had to replace the blades or put a new belt on it? Have you ever changed the oil? (I’ve only done that once but that’s a story for another time)

Did it stop being a lawnmower during those downtimes? Of course not, it’s a lawnmower even then.

Christians, have you ever sinned? Have you ever slipped up? Got tripped by temptation? Of course you have!

But praise God, you didn’t lose your salvation. Like that lawnmower, you just lost your purpose for a little bit. The lost live in sin, we live in Christ!

“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: But the wicked shall fall into mischief.” - Proverbs‬ ‭24‬:‭16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Get up, dust off, and come right back to Jesus.

I fly drones at my "9-5" job. We recently got a new one, so when I run into issues while learning how to fly it, I usually do three things. I read the manual, I call the manufacturer, or I find people at my office that have experience with it. Those three things solve every problem I run across.

When life presents problems, I encourage you to do what I do with that drone.
"Read the manual" - We are blessed to have the complete, inerrant word of God so easily available in this country. Pick up your Bible, read it, and commit it to your heart.
"I call the manufacturer" - Who knows you better and the mountains you face than the Creator of everything? Seek God in prayer and let your petitions be known.
"I find people at my office that have experience with it" - Connect with your local church. Not just the leadership, but each other! We are working through this world together, and seeking to encourage each other. We would love to have you at Blue Springs if you are looking for a church family.

Ok, we survived the first few days of school! Come praise the Lord with us and thank Him for His blessings!

We have Sunday School for all ages at 10, and our service usually starts around 11 if the preacher wears his watch. We would love to see y’all tomorrow!
