I am blessed to be pastor at this church. As most of you know, my father was a pastor of churches all over Mississippi and Louisiana for over fifty years. I saw a lot in my time growing up on that side of the church.

What I feel makes Blue Springs different is its willingness. A willingness to help when anything needs to be done. A willingness to want growth on the Lord's terms. To grow not just in number, but mostly, a desire to grow closer to the Lord.

A deep, earnest desire to be closer to God. That desire is not just for themselves. They want that for the church family, their family, their friends, their coworkers, and for all those that are lost. They want to learn how to supply what's "missing" in their walk.

Do you feel like something is missing? Do you feel like you made all the right choices and connections, but something is still missing? Come join us tomorrow, and search with us to grow with a community of Bible-believing members.

"Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon."

This was from Bro Jody’s post after our Easter Son-Rise Service , this is so true. The Devil will give you every excuse you want, as to why you are okay to miss church. The most famous, “ I can worship anywhere.” While this is true , because God is everywhere, but if he didn’t intend on his people gathering to worship, what about the Bible filled with scripture about church establishing. Hebrews 10:25 (KJV)
Yes, you can praise the Lord anywhere, but being in a church surrounded by fellow believers, singing praises to God, listening to the gospel being preached, it is a special time of spiritual fellowship.
