Is there a church in Newton county area that’s needing a full time pastor?
Bigger congregation? Youth pastor? Kids directors? Active youth and kids ministries? Musical director? media Ministry?
We are in a rare predicament. At times we are outgrowing our little building it seems, then other days there may be 15-20 people there. We are renting from another church (WHOS BEEN A HUGE BLESSING and WE LOVE DEARLY) but they own it ; we can’t make it ours or grow outside what we have. We also don’t meet on fourth Sundays because they have it that day.
I’ve had a few churches speak with me, BUT I’m really wanting to stay together and not be a long drive for our local congregation.
We’d come as an entire church.
*lead Pastor- ordained and lead this church for three years. I’m also in process of seeking bachelors degree at the very least in Seminary ministry and church leadership
* A fully functional youth program and ordained youth pastor.
*An ordained associate pastor
*A fully functional kids program and kids directors.
* 20-30 congregation members (could be more depending on situations)
*media & music leaders- we do old school hymns on Sundays, and k love type contemporary worship on Wednesdays. But she can adapt to any established regimen.
*growing congregation
*LOTS OF EAGER VOLUNTEERS
*people that cook supper for Wednesdays.
I’ve spoke with everyone and the building isn’t our church WE ARE, and they are okay moving with me to wherever God wants us to be at.
We’ve also discussed trying to raise funds to buy land, build buildings, youth/kids gym, nursery, etc. but that’s expensive. At the end of the day, Gods will is all we want. If that’s to stay where we are then we are PERFECTLY fine with that. But through my prayer, and seeking answers, I’ve come to the conclusion that there are churches who are struggling. Does not have a pastor, youth pastor, kids director, dwindling congregation, no one to do music or media, youth programs, kids programs, lack of volunteers AND this would be an answered prayer to both churches, THATS THE ONLY REASON I’m making this post. Because if God’s laid this so heavy on my heart. Maybe there is a church with amazing facilities that’s going to waste or fading out, and it would be an amazing combination and smart move to combine resources and bring immediate life back into it. ❤️🙏🙌😊
We are a non denominational church, HOWEVER myself and all teachers teach from a Baptist belief system.
I appreciate your prayers on the situation, and I’m just so honored and thankful that God has called me to Shepard His flock. NO MATTER WHERE THAT IS, or HOW MANY it includes!!!! Love y’all
