Pastor Mark began this morning’s sermon by giving each of the children a seed and reminding us that, through Christ, God makes the seed of faith grow so that it can be shared with others.

Volunteer Spotlight - Glenn

If you’ve been around Christ’s Community Church for very long, you’ve probably seen Glenn Starr serving in one way or another!

Glenn leads our Wednesday morning prayer group, leads and co-hosts our weekly Discovery Group, and is always an “all hands on deck” guy on Sunday mornings - helping set up and get everything ready for worship.

He also helps plan and execute church-wide events, assists Pastor Mark as needed, visits members, and is often the helping hand someone needs. And when Pastor Mark asks, Glenn is honored to fill the pulpit and bring God’s Word to us.

Glenn holds a Master of Divinity from Columbia Biblical Seminary and has spent many years serving in ministry, including more than two decades as a Youth and Young Adult Pastor. He is currently in the final steps of the ARP ordination process as he continues to pursue pastoral ministry.

We are so thankful the Lord led Glenn and his family to CCC. His willingness to serve, encourage, lead, and simply jump in wherever needed is a blessing to our church family.

It was a joy to welcome Elder Jim Cunningham back to Christ’s Community Church this morning. Jim also shared God’s Word with us last year, and we were grateful to have him with us again. What an amazing morning worshiping our Lord and Savior! Over 300 people gathered from the community, from different churches and walks of life. God is good.

As the sun rose this morning we sang about the rising of the true Son in the song Because He Lives.

He is Risen!
