Last week, Rabbi Mendel had the honor of representing Chabad of Chula Vista at the City of Chula Vista’s Jewish American Heritage Month recognition event at City Hall.
Thank you to the Human Relations Commission and city leadership for creating space to recognize and celebrate the contributions of the Jewish community, both locally and throughout American history.
I also had the opportunity to share a few words on the importance of investing in our children as the foundation of the future of Jewish life.
When we empower the next generation with values, connection, and joy in their Judaism, we help ensure that our traditions continue to thrive for years to come.
It was meaningful to stand together with fellow Jewish community leaders and residents in a spirit of unity, respect, and shared values.
We are grateful to be part of the vibrant and diverse fabric of the Chula Vista community!
