Good afternoon Saints,
In our Sunday evening session, we noted where God gave his servant (Ezekiel) a case study on when and why he removed His Spirit from a place He once called home (the temple in Jerusalem).

He then gave Ezekiel a case study on how His Spirit would expand from a New, Better, temple and spread throughout the land and bless everything it touched!

God bless

We’d like to thank Sis Yashica and team that planned and pulled together our movie night.

The kids had a blast (and so did the adults - lol!!!).

Good afternoon saints,
We'd like to show our appreciation to the Grand Ave Church of Christ who partnered with Palomar to host our "Generations" workshop.

The idea behind this workshop is to recognize the generations and how they were impacted by various events, how they communicated, what values did they hold and how we can better understand one another.

In this workshop, we examined different era's and noted some of the cultural, historical and religious influences that can possibly impact the way each group views contemporary issues with the idea being to foster better understanding and communication.

We observed the following:

The silent Generation (1928-1945)
- References: The Great Depression, World War II

The Baby Boomers (1946-1964)
- References: Civil Rights, War in Vietnam, Sexual Revolution,
the fall of the Berlin wall, the Drug Era (L*D, He**in, etc.,).

Generation 'X' (1965-1980)
- References: MTV, Divorce, Challenger Space Craft, Soul Train,
Music, MLK and Malcom X, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson,
The (Lunar) Moon Landing.

Generation 'Y' or Millennials (1981-1996)
- References: The airplane disasters on 9/11, HIV, the advent of
Social Media.

Generation 'Z' (1997-2010)
- References: 'Y2K', a wave of school shootings, advancements in
Social Media, School Shootings. Fewer kids playing outside, etc.,

Generation 'A' or Alpha (2011-2025)
- References: Technology, A.I., Recession, Covid, Terrorism.

In closing, we also want to extend a big shoutout to our teacher who specializes in cultural and personal behaviors.

We had a wonderful time!!!

To God be the Glory!
