Yesterday was Youth Sunday at Horse Creek Mission Church, and what a blessing it was! ❤️🇺🇸✝️

From the babies to the teens, each one played an important role in the service. They sang, spoke, served, took up the offering, and reminded everyone that God is still calling young people to stand for Him.

The theme was "On the Battlefield" based on 2 Timothy 2:3 KJV:

"Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ."

It is encouraging to see young people willing to step up and serve the Lord. In a world that constantly pulls them in every direction, they chose to stand boldly for Christ.

A huge thank you to the parents, grandparents, church family, and leaders who invest their time, prayers, and love into these children. It truly takes a village, and God is blessing the effort.

The future of the church is not tomorrow, it is already here. It is found in these young people who are learning, growing, serving, and seeking the Lord.

Please continue to pray for our youth as they navigate the battles of this world and grow in their walk with Christ.

We are incredibly proud of every single one of them. ❤️

Youth Night Recap ❤️🤣🍝🍨

What happens when you combine a spaghetti dinner, an ice cream bar, a group of kids, and a lesson on communication?

Absolute chaos... and we loved every minute of it! 🤣

Tonight's lesson was "Can You Hear Me Now?" and our youth learned just how easily messages can get twisted when we aren't listening carefully.

Telephone Pictionary started with one idea and somehow ended somewhere out in left field. 🎨😂

Reverse Charades proved we've got some youth with Oscar-worthy acting skills. 🎭

And then there was Hear Me Out, where our youth had to convince us that random objects belonged in Bible stories...

🍦 Popsicles to help feed the 5,000.

🪭 Handheld fans for the birth of Jesus.

🥷 A cloak of invisibility to help David defeat Goliath.

🚐 A camper for Daniel while he stayed in the lions' den.

And honestly... some of those sales pitches were so convincing we almost invested. 🤣

But behind all the laughter was a powerful reminder:

The world is loud. Social media is loud. Friends are loud. Opinions are loud. Sometimes it's hard to hear what God is saying.

That's why we need to stay close to Him through prayer, His Word, and godly friendships.

"He that hath ears to hear, let him hear." — Mark 4:9 (KJV)

We're thankful for a youth group that knows how to have fun, build friendships, and grow in their faith together. Nights like these remind us that ministry is about more than lessons—it's about making memories, sharing laughs, and pointing young people to Jesus.

✨ Join us for an evening of fellowship, faith, food, and worship at Horse Creek Mission Church! ✨

We are excited to host our Building Fund Poor Man’s Supper on Saturday, June 13th. Food will be served from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM with Gospel singing beginning at 6:00 PM 🎶

Every plate served helps support our church projects including finishing the playground and building a pavilion for our church family and community ❤️

There is nothing sweeter than gathering together with good food, loving people, and the presence of the Lord. We would love to see you there!

REVIVAL STARTS TOMORROW! 🙌🔥

Horse Creek Mission Church invites everyone to join us for our “Refresh, Renew, Revive” Spring Revival beginning Tuesday, May 20th through Friday, May 23rd at 7 PM nightly!

We are looking forward to a mighty move of God with preaching by Daniel Norton each night, special singing from the Virginia Boys on Thursday, and Middle Cross on Friday! 🎶⛪

What a beautiful day at our Women’s Retreat today at Horse Creek Mission Church 🩷

From the sweet fellowship, wonderful food, laughter, door prizes, and heartfelt conversations, to gathering together around God’s Word, it was truly a special day. Most importantly, we definitely felt the presence of the Holy Spirit moving in our service and among the women today.

There is just something powerful about women coming together to worship, encourage one another, and grow closer to the Lord. Thankful for every woman who came, everyone who cooked, decorated, donated, prayed, spoke, sang, and worked behind the scenes to make today possible.

Days like today remind us that church is more than a building… it is a family.

We are thankful for what God did today and excited to see what He continues to do.

Tonight was such a fun night for some of our youth at the skating rink! 🛼💙
There was lots of laughter, fellowship, smiles, and memories made together. It was Christopher’s very first time skating and he had such a great time! 😊

We are so thankful for opportunities like this where our young people can simply enjoy being together and building friendships in a positive environment. Thankful for every parent, volunteer, and person who helps make nights like this possible. Most importantly, thankful for a church family that loves investing in our youth. ❤️
