Social media’s influence on us as a society is profound. It seems to feed off our rage and create anger and resentment within us. Rage that can compel us to silo ourselves and even become cynical about our neighbors and God’s good creation. How then are we to face this temptation?

Today we had another G.I.G (Gathered in Grace) Potluck and Event. We shared as a community ideas for ministry and our reactions to the ministry we as OSLC have been doing over the last year. 🥘🍰🥙🍗

The video below does not capture the energy, the people, the gifts, and the love of our ministries. But, what it does do is give us examples quantitatively of the impact we are having on the community around us and it helps us share our story with others. ✝️🕊️

This word in Hebrew means to have every part of you turn about and come back to God. Mind, heart, body, and soul.

God’s plea to the people is a sobering call to return home.

A homecoming that is eye opening as they remember and reflect on their roots.

Our Holy Trinity Sunday message focused on the way the Trinity proclaims the identity of God; God the Creator, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

This identity and diversity of God claims us and unites us as God’s people. All of us as siblings in the Triune God.

It affects our relationship to God, to each other, and to the world around us.
