This month, our Elementary kids are starting a new series called “To: The Mission.”
 
The Great Commission is the last job that Jesus gave us when He finished His work here. He entrusted us with the task of sharing our hope with the whole world. It was a calling, a mission, and a gift. He gave His disciples the most important job in history: to carry the hope of salvation into every corner of the world. Jesus didn’t just tell grown-ups to spread the good news. He calls all His followers, including kids, to be part of that mission.
 
Each week brings a new Bible story, new conversations, and new ways to live out the mission right where they are. They will also have a fun Memory Verse Challenge to complete each month. This month the challenge verse is Matthew 28:19. When students have memorized their verse, they can recite it to a leader to receive a Special GL Kids: The Mission Bracelet.

James: Real Talk for Right Now is a multi-week expositional journey through one of the most practical books in the Bible. Written to believers facing real-life challenges, James addresses topics such as trials, temptation, faith, speech, wisdom, relationships, humility, wealth, suffering, prayer, and spiritual restoration.

This encouraging series will help us move beyond mere profession and demonstrate a faith that is genuine, mature, and visible in everyday life. We will discover what authentic faith looks like in the real world and learn how to follow Christ with wisdom, integrity, and spiritual maturity in today’s culture.
