This is, in social media terms, an old old piece. I forgot I even did this. I was experimenting with pens and fonts. It was kind of the good old days when I had a little bit more time in the mornings before work.

I am probably not the closest to God right now as I have been at other times. This is due to many factors, many of which I cannot control but also my own weaker effort because I have a limited amount of time and also, I've been lazy about it. Still, I wake up in the morning and He hasn't held a grudge against me, been vindictive, held back His Grace or taken His Love away. How He feels about us is inexplicable really from a human perspective. The Love He possesses for us, is the most powerful force that exists, because if we accept it, we can become like Him. We too can be graceful and loving even to those that do not reciprocate at our level or at all. The current times demand this of followers of Christ. Regardless of our personal affiliations or opinions, we're called to love God first and then love others. We do this by staying close to God (I'm being a hypocrite here) and then living our lives in accordance with His Will. That includes preaching the Gospel, being godly, sacrificing, forgiving, being generous and basically being willing to live or die for the same people that Jesus did those very things for. So, if you woke up this morning, these are your 2 primary objectives: love God, love others. He has shown you how he feels about you. Now let the Love of God move you to be like Him.
"Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37-40
