CrossPointe Community Church

CrossPointe Community Church CrossPointe is a non-denominational church that launched in 2000. The word, “community” is in the middle of our name, right where we want to be!

The folks at CrossPointe Community Church serve a free meal, open to anyone who would like to enjoy it, on the last Friday of every month. This month we are highlighting some of our favorite dishes from Contessa’s on the Square! Join us this Friday, January 30th for broasted chicken, jojos and salad! Yum! We’ll also have a dessert, but you’ll have to wait to find out what it is! Our community meals are now served inside the church…and it’s our goal to not only fill your stomach, but also your mind and soul! It’s a great opportunity to meet people and enjoy camaraderie. That date again is this Friday, January 30th from 5:00 to 6:00PM. Come hungry, and see some old friends...or make some new ones! CrossPointe is located at 7230 Lake Road in Chippewa Lake. For more information, call the church office at 330-723-9009. This meal is sponsored in cooperation with the Chippewa Lake Lions Club.

CrossPointe would like to thank everyone who participated in our Holiday Lighting Contest! You helped light up our community for Christmas! We hope folks will drive around the community to see how beautifully people decorated their homes to honor the season. Our judges had a hard time choosing contest winners but finally did. Here are the winners of the CrossPointe Holiday Lighting Contest 2025: The Griswold Award was won by the Tressler Family, on Lakefield Lane. The Most Whimsical Award was won by The Schultz Family, on Birchwood Drive. And the Most Traditional award was won by the Siwik Family on Shorefield Drive. Congratulations all! Merry Christmas!

SURVIVING THE HOLIDAYS
Grief is harder around the holidays. When you’re asking questions about your grief, a quick, cliché response is not what you need. At GriefShare, you’ll meet people who will listen, without judgment, and share helpful insights and advice.

The Surviving the Holidays event begins with a 35-minute video that will help you feel understood and encouraged, with stories of people who have found healing after loss and practical tips from experts.

After the video, you will be given a safe, nonjudgmental space to share your experiences and feelings with the group—or simply listen. There’s no pressure to talk, if you don’t want to!

You will be given a Holiday Survival Guide full of tips on how to navigate the season, including coping with painful emotions, handling social events and traditions, and more.

Surviving the Holidays will be offered at CrossPointe on Saturday, December 13, from 2:00-4:00PM. For more information, or to register, please call the church office at 330-975-4309.

We recognize that things might be a little tough for folks this year. To help ease the burden of a holiday meal for Thanksgiving, CrossPointe Community Church will give away $30 gift certificates good for the purchase of holiday meats at Buehler’s on Saturday, November 15th from 10AM to Noon. If you wish to receive one of these gift certificates, please drive in to the parking lot at CrossPointe between 10AM and noon on November 15th and swing around to go past the front doors. A volunteer will be waiting to hand you a gift certificate- you won’t even have to get out of the car! Please note: ONE GIFT CERTIFICATE PER CAR. If you cannot get to CrossPointe on the 15th for any reason, please call the church office at 330-975-4309 and leave a message to receive a return call.
